Tamwoods moved to France and was renamed NewPastures.   We chose to move to Cahors in the Lot, a department of France that is known mainly for its food and wine.   As the Lot is off the beaten track, Americans are an exotic species here and are warmly welcomed by the locals. Cahors is the capital of the Lot. The Lot is part of the Midi-Pyrénées region: the capital of this region is Toulouse.   Cahors is on the main railway line between Paris Austerlitz and Toulouse.
